We are feeling the LOVE! Here’s yet another engagement session where we were left feeling grateful for being able to freeze frame significant moments in our couple’s lives. Kelsey and Matt have been together for 12 years when they met all the way back in high school and have experienced major parts of their lives together. For their engagement session, they invited us into their really hip industrial apartment that they will be moving out of shortly. They mentioned how special it would be to have photos of them in the place where they spent so much time together growing in their relationship, spending plenty of time watching the office and drinking wine. Yup, you guessed it the office was definitely one of the reasons why we bonded so much with Kelsey and Matt, it’s actually pretty funny how quoting lines from a TV show can make you feel like instant friends.
The next few months Kelsey and Matt have a lot coming up for them with the big move, a new job and of course, a wedding they’ve got a lot on their plates but something tells us that these two can handle pretty much anything, they’re just so cool calm and collected, incredibly easy to talk to and real go-getters. In fact, I couldn’t fail to mention that the coffee table and Bar in Kelsey and Matt’s apartment was actually made/refurbished from the couple themselves! HGTV is missing out by now having a show about these two! Besides the perfect decoration apartment, they also shared some of their favorite outdoor spots like the running trails that lead them right to downtown Armory Square, where we “ran into” a group of runners, all while bonding over our love of snacks (inspired by a box of granola bars left for the runners.) Kelsey and Matt, thanks for letting us be super goofy with you guys, you are Beyonce, always.
