I don’t think you could have wished for a better Autumn day to have a wedding! As our year has winded down, we have found ourselves trying to soak in as much love as we can until we start up our busy season again next Spring. Tom and I are still running on this feel-good high from all of the amazing weddings we’ve had this year, and we are feeling more grateful than ever! With only three weddings left in our year, Vikki and Eric kept that same energy going with their wedding at Vernon Downs!
Vikki met Eric at a Proctor vs RFA homecoming game! Plot twist, this was actually during college! It was one of Vikki’s first few days at college when one of Eric’s mutual friends invited her out to the football game! Vikki was pretty nervous not really knowing anyone, but after meeting Eric that night, it only took a day or two for him to find her on Facebook and “slide into her DM’s.” Around a decade later and here we are with them on their wedding day!
All the stars aligned for Vikki and Eric’s wedding (or maybe it was the Greek evil eye charm that Vikki was wearing.) Either way, there was not a single cloud in the sky and the weather was absolute fall perfection! The sun was shining down on Vikki and Eric during their rooftop Ceremony. Guests watched as the happy couple shared their vows, all while horses were racing in the background. The Reception ballroom was decorated with the cutest centerpieces -photos of the couple throughout the years! Tearful dances and heartfelt speeches led guests into dinner, then what goes best after dinner? Partying, and party they did!

Great couple!!! I have known Vikki ever since birth, she has always been a great kid, then big sister, and friend. She turned out to be such an inspiring young lady who’s smile can light up any room! And Eric, he was so quiet at first, seemed like a nice young man. And now he seems more relaxed around us, its a relief because quiet people make me nervous! Lol To see that when these two are together the balance between them is what everyone should aspire for. Thank you both for inviting us to witness your special day. What a wonderful time we had!
