Brooke + Nick Wolf Oak Acres

It all started in elementary school when a young Nick developed a crush on the cutest girl in the fourth grade! It’s crazy to think that they have been in each other’s lives for so long, and even crazier to think of where that crush has brought them! As time passed, Nick’s admiration for Brooke only grew and he had to make her his! Repeatedly he would ask her out, and eventually, the two became a couple! Brooke knew from his admiration and ambition, that he was the one! Then on a sunrise hike up Cascade Mountain, Nick popped the question with their two fur babies, (Jada and Jake) by their side! 

It was like a warm hug being back at Wolf Oak Acres for Brooke and Nicks wedding! The day began how every great wedding day should begin, with an awesome playlist and a ton of sweet girls getting glammed up! Tom spent his morning with Nick and the guys as they were putting on their finishing touches before heading over to the venue! As storm clouds began to roll in, I was in awe of how well Brooke was responding to the change in weather! She stayed cool, calm, and collected even when the music cut out and everyone’s phones simultaneously rang to send an emergency tornado warning out. Sweet Brooke just rolled with it and continued getting ready for the adventurous day ahead! As the rain started to beat down on the barn roof, plans for the outdoor ceremony were moved inside, where the vibe of the day became even more intimate and romantic. Guests filed in and Nick made his way to the front of the room, standing in front of the fireplace, awaiting his soon to be bride! You could see the smiles spread across Brooke and Nick’s faces as they saw each other for the first time. Holding hands, Brooke was wearing a heart-shaped bracelet, that held a very special meaning. It was a bracelet that Nick had begged his mom to buy in the fourth grade but he had chickened out ever giving it to Brooke, and after all those years, Nick’s mom held onto it and gave it to her soon to be daughter in law. The ceremony was quick, but packed full of love! 

We were so lucky that the rain let up for photos outside, and as the guests filtered downstairs for the reception, they had no idea what was in store! Entrances from the wedding party contained some hilarious moments and even an outfit swap between a groomsman and bridesmaid! Then the dances between Brooke, Nick, and their parents made guests laugh, cry, and cry from laughter, especially as Brooke and her father put on one amazing dance performance -no one saw it coming and it was epic! With wet grass and the sunset breaking through the clouds Brooke and Nick met outside one more time for the night to get a few more photos to remember what an incredible day it was! Then when it came time for Tom and I to say our goodbyes, the two were still dancing the night away!
