Richelle and Leigh’s wedding took us out of our summer wedding season with a bang! Now that we have officially finished weddings (until December) we’ve had some time to be able to think about what an incredible summer it was. We can’t explain enough how honored and blessed we feel to be able to capture the Wedding day of all of our incredible couples. And like I stated before, Richelle and Leigh were the “cherry on top” of our season.
The energy and passion that Richelle and Leigh share for each other is explosive! Both of them always had these amazing smiles plastered on their faces the whole day, that is of course when there weren’t shooting silly faces at our cameras, making us crack up every time!
Best View Barn made for a picturesque fall backdrop for the wedding day. Richelle and her bridesmaids welcomed me right away and between them getting ready they also made time to fill up some flasks with Patron and get the party started early with a bridal Suite dance party, brought to you by Richelle’s mom and sister! After, Leigh and the guys arrived at the venue via School Bus and the rest of the guests filled into the chairs surrounding the pond. Richelle and Leigh choose to keep the ceremony traditional and shared their first look at each other for the aisle in front of friends and family. Both their eyes filled with tears, but as waves of tears came and went, throughout the ceremony, so did waves of laughter and smiles, especially when Richelle and Leigh pranked the best man into thinking he forgot the rings when they, in fact, kept them, everyone shared a good laugh over that!
There’s something so cozy about a barn on a fall night and Richelle and Leigh’s reception felt like a warm hug. As all of their closest family and friends gathered with them to celebrate their love we heard stories and toasts about how much the couple means to everyone and how much Richelle and Leigh mean to each other. We are sure happy that Leigh kept tipping that “purtty cute” Ice cream worker (a.k.a. Richelle) until he finally got the courage to ask her out because we think these two are the perfect double scoop. That barn floor was made for dancing as the guest made their way over to do the cha-cha slide and kick up their heels, and as we made our way to the car, the music was still pumping away!
We could not be happier to have shared in Richelle and Leigh’s wedding day! We wish them so much happiness and love! Congratulations Richelle and Leigh!
