Ahnna and Zach’s wedding may be only 15 short day’s away, but that just gave these two sweethearts all the more reason to snuggle up with bear hugs and Eskimo kisses during their engagement session this past weekend! We spent the day adventuring around Ahnna’s family’s camp on Cayuga Lake (and getting boated around and assisted by Ahnna’s awesome dad- Tom!) This was our first official time meeting, and the sneak peak that we got at Zach’s watermelon socks told us right away that it was going to be a fun shoot! Of course, no surprises here, they were incredible to hang out with, and their chemistry they shared made our “jobs” so easy! Zach barley took his eyes off of Ahnna the entire time, (only to close them when they kissed) *cue inside joke!*
They shared with us how they first met at Upstate Medical University, where they both now work, Zach on his way to becoming a doctor and Ahnna, working as a Physical Therapist. They told us they fell in love in a “hopeless place”, ya know, like the Rihanna song, that hopeless place being the Library. It’s obvious that Zach was studying something other than his book, because fast forward to a trip to Maui where Zach “popped the question” and now with only a few days until the wedding our anticipation has tripled! We can’t wait to watch Ahnna’s 95-year-old grandpa do the chicken dance, and see what socks Zach decides on for the big day!
Thanks for showing us around your awesome camp Ahnna & Zach (and Mary-Beth & Tom!) We had a blast! Can’t wait to see you again soon!
