Behind the red bottom shoes, the swanky ballroom, and the dazzling good looks, Chelsea and Sam shared one very special day full of family values and lots of laughs along the way! This dynamic duo isn’t just two socialites living in the big apple, they also know how to throw one heck of a party right at home! All kidding aside, Chelsea and Sam are two genuine and kindhearted people who put the highest priority of sharing their special day with their family and friends that they so obviously love very much. If you’ve ever smiled non-stop for one hour you know what it can do to your cheeks, so times that by twelve plus and you can imagine how Sam and Chelsea’s cheeks felt at the end of the night! Every, and I mean every, single guest that greeted the newlyweds got a huge hug and bright smile as if they were the first to congratulate them, even if they were the last of the night! That’s what love can do, nature’s energy drink, when you are excited to become officially entwined to your best friend for life, every moment of celebration feels like the first!
The beautiful village of Clinton made for the perfect backdrop for the morning! Chelsea’s Aunts home was packed full of beautiful girls, getting dressed in their navy blue gowns, all different varieties, no two the same. The flower tribe, as Chelsea called it, was made up of the younger girls in the family, looking stylish in their blush gowns, (and one very cool jumpsuit!) Yet, of course, the gown that took the cake, was Chelsea’s stunning ballgown, which alone was gorgeous but even more beautiful when paired with the embellished shoulder piece and Louie pumps, (that I probably took a thousand photos of). Before the grand moment came to put on the dress, we, of course, had to take a moment for snacks and a dance session! Chelsea’s Aunt had a feast set out for the ladies, she knows that #chelslovessammy! Between snapping fun shots of the tribe of ladies in their “after this we’re getting pizza” shirts I took a look at all the family photos scattered all over the house, one of my favorite things to do besides taking them! I looked through ones of Chelsea was little and all the way up to present day with Sam, I even saw past wedding photos from her mom, aunt and more family! To me, photos mean so much, so to see them everywhere made my heart so happy!
Alteri’s is a family establishment and already holds a deep meaning to Chelsea and Sam, but even more now because that is where they chose to share their vows! After some very sweet family moments, with “nana” and dad, we took a short walk to Alteri’s, and a lucky little ladybug hitched a ride to watch the ceremony unfold! The restaurant was packed to the brim, but even more full of love. Chelsea was serenaded by a guitarist as she made her way through the crowd of all of their closest family and friends, meeting Sam at the fireplace. Then the vows… practically indistinguishable from each other, but proving even more how in tune these two are! I remember hearing someone later in the day say “their love is like the kind you watch in movies” and it true, this power couple just has “it”!
The Shenandoah clubhouse was dolled up and ready to go for guest’s when they arrived. Fully loaded with white pumpkin centerpieces, each table representing a beloved restaurant, greenery adorning the fireplace, a photo booth, and the head table was even decorated with Chelsea’s mother’s train from her wedding gown. Also, I need to note the sweetest thing EVER, Chelsea and Sam chose to share their head table with their parents! A very sweet detail I hope everyone loved as much as I did! It didn’t take very long after introductions for this crowd to get the party started, and the live band with some of the most fun performers kept it going ALL night long!
What an incredible day we were so blessed to share! Congratulations Chelsea and Sam, sending you lots of love!
