There’s nothing quite like beautiful upstate in autumn! The warm colors, the sound of leaves crunching as you walk, and the smell of cider and apples! Fall is undoubtedly my very favorite season, so I was over the top excited for Brandy and Jordan’s harvest-inspired wedding! Besides the fact that the festive theme was right up my alley, these two are so much fun to photograph. I swooned during their entire portrait session, they just couldn’t hold back their love and needed no direction to snuggle and kiss!
Orchard Grove farms made for the perfect backdrop for their intimate fall wedding! The big grey barn was surrounded by colorful mums and big orange pumpkins! While Brandy and her sweet bridesmaids were getting ready in the bridal suite, I took a peek inside the barn where the reception would take place late in the day, and WOW, it was an absolute fall lovers dream! The centerpieces were pumpkins filled with festive colored bouquets, a table filled with maple syrup favors for the guests, a hot apple cider bar, and a massive dessert table with fall inspired cupcakes like pumpkin spice, salted caramel, and apple pie! My eyes grew 10 times bigger in awe of how incredible everything looked, and no joke this barn got me instantly inspired to do some fall activities…pumpkin picking anyone?
Jordan was greeting guests with a huge smile as they arrived for the ceremony, but before he could see his beautiful bride-to-be, she had two other very important guys that needed to see her first! Her Father, and her sweet fur-baby Dexter! First look’s always give us so many emotions, and this was no different! The ceremony was held down at the pond, one by one, each bridesmaid made their way down the steps and to the gazebo where Jordan stood, once again with the biggest, sweetest smile! Then flower girls, tossing their petals down the aisle..or should I say dumping them into a nice little pile right at the end of the steps, a true “aww” moment! Then we had Dexter make his way down, looking absolutely adorable in his flower collar. All leading up to Brandy’s entrance, which of course did not disappoint, she looked like a dream in her flowing gown, (I was obsessed!) Between all the sweet glances Brandy and Jordan were exchanging and the beautiful words spoken by their officiant (Brandy’s brother) it was a truly sweet ceremony!
Their portrait session was just as sweet as their ceremony! Stepping over fallen apples and smooching under apple trees, these two are so in love, and you couldn’t help but smile while spending time with them! Before we all headed into the barn for the start of the reception, they even took a few private minutes of their own, Tom and I both thought that was a really sweet moment that everyone should share!
Entrances were epic and Brandy and Jordan’s first dance was a ballroom dancers dream, you could tell these two really knew what they were doing, but also never took their eyes off each other, they were in their own world but surrounded by everyone that loves them! Brandy and her father’s first dance brought me to tears, and Jordan and his mom’s dance they shared showed where Jordan got his skills from! A surprise anniversary dance for Jordan’s parents after only proved even more how little I know about dancing, they were so graceful it was as if they were floating! After a delectable dinner, everyone cozied up by a fire on the deck where a smores bar was waiting to be devoured! An exploding bouquet made by the engineer groom himself was so creative and unique, and a fun-filled night of great music and dancing ended their perfect day!
What an incredible day we had! Thank you, Brandy and Jordan for letting us share in your beautiful fall wedding! Wishing you many more wonderful years!
