Hopefully, by now, It’s a well-known fact that we love all things weddings, From being able to witness handfuls of love stories, to meeting and becoming “part” of a family all in the course of a day. Nothing brings us more joy than this job, which essentially to us, is one of the best gifts we could ask for! That being said, we are excited to share with everyone Alyssa and Josh’s wedding! A day that was filled with everything beautiful and fun, and the perfect way to further fill our hearts with love mid wedding season!
Far before the Wedding day, Alyssa and Josh would tell us how large their families each are, and we thought to ourselves that we were prepared and thought that it might be the size of some we’ve seen before. Boy were we wrong, not only were the ceremony and reception filled wall to wall with family but even during the morning we spent with Alyssa and Josh we were surrounded with groups of the happiest family and friends and felt instantly welcomed into the group. While I was shooting details in the morning, I was not just asked if I wanted anything to eat, but given a sandwich and a seat from Alyssa’s mom, no was simply not an answer, (and I loved that!) The sense of being a part of something bigger in such a big group was extremely special and something that stuck out to us both. It was clear to see that every single person cared so much about Alyssa and Josh and the joy surrounding their wedding day was incredible!
The ceremony took place at St Louis Gonzaga Church and we were excited to shoot there, it is truly a remarkable church, the detailed paintings, and beautiful colors are picturesque. I can’t tell you how many times I caught Alyssa and Josh smiling at each during the ceremony! The excitement they shared with us the whole morning had all led up to that moment when they could finally pledge their lives together! When it came time for the big kiss the reactions were priceless! Even thinking about it now brings a smile to my face!
After photos in a park, (and getting shoes stuck in sidewalks) everyone headed to the Reception at the Marriott Syracuse Downtown The ballroom was located on the 10th and 11th floors and was two stories high and breathtaking! Almost impossible to put words to it, but to sum it up, it was pure elegance, sophistication and glamorous with everything adorned in crisp whites and lush greenery. An already gorgeous backdrop was enhanced to the max with all different types of centerpieces, tall and grand, and long and flowing, the photo opportunities were endless. Just as the venue packed a punch, the emotions during the reception did too! From napkin twirling during introductions to tears flowing during the dances, my emotions were putty in their hands. The cake and dessert table, (made by the bride’s brother) were both beautiful to look at and to eat! With a handmade cigar roller, a photo booth, and some awesome music, it was a party with no dull moments!
What a remarkable day it was! Thank you, Alyssa and Josh, for letting us be a part of your day! Wishing you both so much love and well wishes!
Beautiful,Breathless BEYOND.

Beginning for Both of you.
