Sarah and Sam’s Wedding

One of the most fun things about weddings is that they are all unique! We love seeing how our couples put their personalities into their special day and we love capturing those details that are distinctive to them. From a mixed traditional and Persian ceremony, to a swedish toast and even a rave party lasting long into the next morning, Sarah and Sam’s wedding was unforgettable and perfectly unique to them!

Their wedding took place at The Sagamore, a beautiful and luxurious resort on Lake George. Sarah and her bridesmaids were finishing up hair and makeup when we arrived, looking beautiful in matching robes. They were all seated around this enormous table that was filled with pastries, sandwiches and blue champagne. Meanwhile the guys were in Sam’s room giving it their best attempt at tying a bow tie… but seriously, why are they so hard to tie? After some blue champagne toasts with the ladies, they helped Sarah into her gorgeous gown and Louboutin heels (I am still obsessing over them!) Sarah and Sam shared a special first look and gave us time for photos before their ceremony, we just loved shooting around the Sagamore, everywhere you turn is stunning views!
The ceremony was held on the deck, and although rain moved them under the patio, it created a warm cozy feeling, and the small number of close family and friends made their ceremony so intimate and special. Sarah and Sam shared a beautiful traditional ceremony and then a Persian Ceremony as well, and it was so amazing to be able to witness and photograph. Their reception was just as special and full of culture as their ceremony. Their family and friends toasted Sam and Sarah’s marriage with awesome memories that made everyone laugh, cry, and cry laughing! After toasts everyone joined in on a Swedish drinking song, how fun is that?! The rest of the night was a wave of delicious food, great music, and dancing late into the night!
