Family, friendship, and love were prominent values at the Flint wedding. What we admire most about Brooke and Teddy is that pledging their lives to each other surrounded by all of their loved ones was the most significant part of the day. They didn’t worry about the small stresses that come along with a wedding, they were just focused on each other, and that was all they needed.
From the start of the day Brooke and Teddy spent time with family and friends, as Ted and his guys were having a cookout and firing off their rifles, Brooke was playing peek-a-boo with her nieces and nephews. The ceremony and reception were held at the beautiful MKJ Farm. Brooke was glowing in her lace gown as she walked with her father to meet Teddy under the sunflower adorned arbor. A warm breeze blew across the pond as they exchanged the sweetest of handwritten vows; the bridal party looked on, bridesmaids dressed in yellow flowing sun-dresses and groomsmen in soft grey vests. After rings were exchanged, and a wedding tree was planted, they shared their first kiss as a married couple…with a little help from a step stool for Brooke!
The barn was decorated with a country charm, mason jars filled with sunflowers, tons of adorable photos of Brooke and Teddy, and maple syrup wedding favors. We’ve never seen so many people dancing as there were that night! Besides taking a break for a speech, and a delicious bbq dinner, everyone was on their feet. They ended their wedding with a bang…literally. Fireworks were set off across from the barn. As the guests watched the display, Brooke and Teddy were arm in arm, smiles wide, a perfect ending to their beautiful day!
