The amount of love that surrounded Marissa and Tim’s wedding was immeasurable. From start to finish this couple was cheering, laughing, and smiling. Their happiness is contagious and you could not help feel joy for this beautiful couple.
Marissa along with her best friends and bridesmaids started the sunny fourth of July wedding getting ready at her parents house. The girls got their makeup and hair done and looked stunning. Marissa chose to keep her final look a surprise from her bridesmaids so she could make a special reveal. She met her girls at the front door and a scream of happiness erupted – a reoccurring theme throughout the day.
It was time. The emotions ran high while Marissa and her father drove to St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Church in Utica; she looked glamorous as she stepped out of an antique car- their choice of transportation to the ceremony. Marissa’s eyes filled with tears as she walked down the aisle. Then when she finally took hands with Tim they were both smiling the entire ceremony.
On the limo ride to the reception Marissa had a surprise up her sleeve for Tim. He was upset that their dog could not join them at the wedding, so Marissa told the driver to make a quick stop at a friends house so they could give a few hugs and kisses to their fur-child! It was a happy reunion for everyone! The drive continued with a few pit stops for beautiful pictures- one of those stops being at the Vernon Downs horse stables. The racers were preparing for the show that night and the wedding party got to see the race horses.
When we arrived to the reception at Vernon Downs hotel, there was a surprise again- this time for Marissa. She had designed the entire layout and decorations of the venue and had been excitedly anticipating the reveal of the room. It was breathtaking! There was ceiling to floor drapery, adorable signs with love quotes, and long dining tables adorned by gold candelabrum, with handmade flower boxes overflowing with babies breath. The guest seating tree was amazing. It was massive and had long silver branches, hanging crystals and ribbons; with place cards for guests to find their tables.
The night continued with sweet speeches, great music, and delicious food. Marissa and Tim ended their beautiful wedding day watching an amazing fireworks display from the balcony, wrapped in each others arms.
