Alaina and Todd set the bar high for their extravagant wedding last Saturday. Surrounded by a large party of sixteen family and friends, there was high energy throughout the day, never a dull moment- making for awesome candid photos .They started their day getting ready, sharing laughs and celebrating before they made a trip to Annunciation Church in Ilion, NY for their ceremony. The family was full of emotion, the tissue box was being passed around for all of the happy tears! It was easy to tell that everyone adored Alaina and Todd’s love for each other.
After the beautiful ceremony, we traveled to Utica, making a stop at Gerber’s Tavern on Hotel Street. The party bus pulled over and the wedding party flooded in. After a round of drinks, we crossed the street to the small park for group pictures. The bridesmaids and groomsmen headed back to the bus as we took the bride and groom down Hotel Street. As the two danced in the alley, they would not stop laughing and smiling.
We followed the party bus to Frankfort fairgrounds for the reception. A simple building on the outside had an amazing surprise on the inside. Adorned with hanging drapery, sparkling lights, shimmering chandeliers and gorgeous silver trees garnished with hanging diamonds. To say that this venue was beautifully transformed would be an understatement. After some awesome announcements into the reception it was time to get the party started. With the DJ, Joe Distortion, located front and center you knew that this was going to be an awesome party and this group knew how to have fun! From the surprise father- daughter dance to the “runway walk” and the karaoke, there wasn’t one person who was not up on that dance floor having a great time.
